Three Interpretation Exercises 2013

Starting with a workshop on acting he conducted in Toulouse, Puiu creates a unique film, part documentary, part exploration of acting and cinema, and part meditation on mortality. Starting from metaphysical works by the Russian philosopher Vladimir Solovyov, Puiu stages the different actors in diverse scenarios that invoke not only dimensions of their craft and Puiu's superb staging, but profound questions through cinematic discussion. A film originally not made for screening beyond the workshop that has already become a success and future classic.
